The osteopath behind your care

Before she trained in Osteopathy, Tafi spent more than a decade in nursing, caring for patients hands-on across a wide range of clinical settings. That background gives her a solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, and clinical safety, and a real understanding of how pain shapes daily life. She is a registered osteopath, and she brings the same steady, attentive care to every appointment.

Tafi works gently and holistically, with a strong focus on understanding the root cause of someone's pain rather than treating the symptoms alone. Her areas of strength are back pain, neck and shoulder pain, hip pain, elbow, hand and wrist pain, and pregnancy-related pain, both ante and post-natal. She enjoys treating all ages and adapts her approach to suit each stage of life. Patients can expect a calm, supportive space where they feel listened to and never rushed. She takes the time to explain what she is finding and why it matters, and she tailors treatment to each person's comfort level, especially babies, pregnant women, and anyone who feels nervous or unsure about Osteopathy.

She is also drawn to longer-term, supportive care. For people living with chronic pain, that means gentle treatment, movement guidance, and practical coping strategies to support function and quality of life. For patients living with disability or ongoing health conditions, it means helping them stay as strong and mobile as possible, preventing deconditioning and supporting long-term independence. And for anyone wanting to stay well, she offers ongoing maintenance care to keep the body moving healthily, help prevent flare-ups, and support steady, everyday function. Tafi consults in English and Shona.
